Your Crouch End 2026 Lib Dem Candidates
Our Priorities for Crouch End
1) A thriving town centre
Crouch End has been let down by Labour over the Hornsey Town Hall, a lack of investment in our town centre, and a failure to support our local businesses.
The Lib Dems on the other hand have been working hard to deliver for Crouch End, securing council and external funding, getting new trees for the town centre, and supporting our local business community. Meanwhile, Luke has been the only councillor that has held the Hornsey Town Hall owners to task for the past eight years.
We would continue to prioritise investment for improving the town centre through new pavements, more places to sit, and incentives and support for our local independent business community. And we would end our Leisure Centre let-downs to make Park Road and the Lido a crown
2) Safer, greener, cleaner streets
We would continue delivering for Crouch End, focusing on more safe crossings; doubling the 30 new trees we have already planted in the town centre and increase flower bed planting. We want cleaner streets - with more public bins, and doing away with rubbish sacks being left on pavements in our town centre. And we will continue to work with local police to tackle the blight of theft, shoplifting and burglaries.
3) An open and transparent council
We need a fresh start at Haringey Council. A change in culture will only come with a change in administration. We would lead the transformation to a "can do" council. One that listens; is open, honest and accessible; and you can speak to, with a customer service centre right here in Crouch End.
A Haringey with a heart, giving a voice to our communities - led by councillors who are accessible, listen, understand, and get things done!

Cllr Luke Cawley-Harrison
Luke has been your Lib Dem Crouch End councillor since 2018, and Leader of the Opposition at Haringey Council since 2020.
He has built a strong reputation for being a tireless campaigner for Crouch End, and for supporting our local businesses and residents, whilst holding Labour to account, unearthing scandals, and fighting for all residents as Opposition Leader in Haringey.
A former business owner, Luke has the background and council experience required to lead the change Haringey needs.

Pledge your support
If you value the work the Lib Dems do locally and want to see a fresh start at Haringey Council pledge your support for us in the 2026 Haringey Council elections.
Help turn Haringey orange this May
One of the most important things you can do – apart from voting of course – is allow us to put up one of our orange signs at the front of your property.
You will be familiar with them - the orange diamond boards, similar to an estate agent’s sign, which say ‘Liberal Democrats’ on them. They are by far the best way to show how much support there is locally and remind people to vote.
Fill out your details below to request a board today. We have window posters too!
