Althone House saved!

Lib Dem councillors have welcomed news that Althone House in Highgate has been saved.

Liz Morris, Lib Dem Councillor for Highgate and Althone House campaigner, comments:

"I am delighted that Althone House has been saved. I hope this wonderful historic building will be restored to its former glory following the planning inspector’s decision.

"There has been a hard fought campaign by the Highgate Society, Heath and Hampstead Society, the CAAC and the entire community to protect and restore Althone House. I congratulate everyone who has worked so hard to save Althone House."
