Comment: Forest Bikes expansion

In response to the news that Forest Bikes have expanded their operations into the entirety of Haringey (the operator previously only covered parts of the borough), Cllr Scott Emery (LD-Highgate), Opposition Spokesperson for Environment & Transport, said:

“This is excellent news. Lib Dems in Haringey have been calling for the introduction and expansion of these e-bike trials for many years, and it is good to see the council pushing ahead. Forest are often more affordable than Lime, and this will expand the ability to access responsible bike hire for many more people across our borough. I hope residents will take advantage of the scheme, ride safely and make use of the opportunity to cycle on safer roads throughout the summer.”
