Councillors Secure Repairs for Archway Road Planters

We’re pleased to share that, following discussions with Veolia, the wooden planters on Archway Road will be refreshed. We have secured funding for this work, and the repairs will be going ahead.

However, while greenery was in place within the planters when they were first installed a number of years ago after funding was secured for them by our previous Highgate Lib Dem Councillors, the council is now unable to support replanting or ongoing maintenance going forwards due to a lack of finances within the council. If residents would like to see the planters brought back to life with greenery, this would need to be a community-led effort.

The Highgate Society have done some great work with filling these planters already this year, but more support is needed!
